Trinity Road, Bounds Green

January, 2003

In January of 2003, the owner of the flat we were living in decided that she would like to sell it instead of renewing our lease. So, in a bit of a fluster, we went flat-hunting, and ended up renting the first place we saw. After the previous flat, it seemed pretty palatial, and it had a garden. Apparently our camera had some fluff on it when we were taking the pictures, but they give a good feel of the place nevertheless.

The living room.

The living room, reverse view.

That door leads out onto the garden, which we essentially left to go to seed. The wine was a welcome gift from our new landlord.

The kitchen.

As you entered the flat, this is the corridor that confronted you. I think we were both thinking that this would be easy to line with books, but in practise the radiator made that less of an option. The nook next to the bathroom was pretty useful for books, on the other hand.

The blinding white bathroom.

The bedroom.
