2003-04-06 :. Shock admission: AAS is a hoax! |
It has emerged that AAS and the whole AAS community,
previously thought to have been just another isolated group of text adventure enthusiasts,
were in fact invented by a bunch of rec.arts.int-fiction and ifMUD regulars as an April Fool's joke,
the whole thing being thrown together in less than a month. It is further alleged that the full list of
conspirators can be found by playing AAS Masters, available on our games page.
(Nobody called "Peter Lansford" was involved. The person posting under that name
just wishes he was. Nice try, troll.) |

Cloak of Darkness! |
| AAS 2.0 has attracted some
interest from "interactive fiction" fans! They use a game called Cloak
of Darkness to compare their TA-like programming systems. I've whipped
up a Cloak of Darkness game in AAS to show off its capabilities. Let me
