Excolo

Aizen-Myoo Aizen-Myoo

Yuzu, kaki, and mikan with cherry blossom and black tea.

Sharp citrus and tea. A good room scent, I think. (My forum review).

Alecto Alecto

Olive leaf, raspberry leaf, vetiver and cedarwood.

Soft, slightly sweet and smoky forest scent. A lot like Wolfsbane. (My forum review).

Bastet Bastet

Luxuriant amber, warm Egyptian musk, fierce saffron and soft myrrh, almond, cardamom and golden lotus.

Oh, this should have been so good. Alas, turns to marzipan on my skin. Better on retry - a much more balanced scent. I'll have to be careful when in the month I wear this, I think. (My forum review).

Centzon Totochtin Centzon Totochtin

Bittersweet Mexican cocoa with rum, red wine, and a scent redolent of sacrificial blood.

Dark rich burnt bitter chocolate-coffee, and then the wine ruins it. (My forum review).

Clio Clio

Her scent is the warm, dry parchment of scrolls, lavender for critical thought and analysis, the solidity of heavy woods, ornery patchouli and glib benzoin, and superstar-splashed orange and amber.

The parchment got lost under the dirt and the woods and the patchouli. Sigh. (My forum review).

Eos Eos

Her scent is that of softly glowing skin, jasmine, buttercup and honeysuckle.

Hunh, sharper than I'd have thought. And the jasmine makes it go powdery very quickly. (My forum review).

Erato Erato

A crush of roses with sweet pea, myrrh, ylang ylang, orris and stephanotis.

Sweet sweet florals dying in talcum powder ick. Sigh. (My forum review).

Euphrosyne Euphrosyne

Gardenia, tea rose, vanilla and jasmine.

Fizzy-bright-white gardenia, barely dulled by the jasmine powder. Too boldly white-floral for me. (My forum review).

Euterpe Euterpe

Her scent is the joy of performing, the euphoria in song, and the passion inspired by all music: carnation and white poppy, honeysuckle, lemon, iris and white musk.

After the iris stops soapifying this, it's a warm spicy honeysuckle blend. Nice. (My forum review).

Grandmother of Ghosts Grandmother of Ghosts

Her scent swirls with a high-pitched tumult of laurel, stargazer lily, splintered woods, peony, mandarin and white musk, and is spiked with pale pepper.

Dry woods and florals, incredibly powdery and faint. (My forum review).

Hades Hades

Black narcissus and cypress, stephanotis, opoponax, labdanum, onycha and ambergris.

A bit too store-perfumey, and there's a weird urine note too. (My forum review).

Himerus Himerus

A passion-rousing blend of juniper, sandalwood, rosewood, red musk, orchid, bergamot and lilac.

A bit confused with what it wants to be - pleasant enough as a whole, but ends up powdery and fades quickly. (My forum review).

Kali Kali

This perfume is a blend of the sacred blooms of cassia, hibiscus, musk rose, Himalayan wild tulip, lotus and osmanthus swirled with offertory dark chocolate, red wine, tobacco, balsam and honey.

Well, booze and honey weren't ever going to go well on me, I guess. Though in this case they were somewhat drowned by the florals. (My forum review).

Khephra Khephra

Hail unto thee who art Khephra in Thy hiding, even unto Thee who art Khephra in Thy silence, who travellest over the heavens in Thy bark at the Midnight Hour of the Sun.

Smelled great in the imp, but turned out to have frankincense in it, which came out and soapified everything. (My forum review).

Kurukulla Kurukulla

Her scent is a harmonious, sweet, enchanting blend of three lotus blooms and three roses.

Soured lotus over rose, very faint and not that nice. (My forum review).

Lilith Lilith

Red wine, myrrh, black musk, and attar of rose.

Way better than I feared, but really, I don't think I want to smell like wine, no matter how good a wine it is. (My forum review).

Loviatar Loviatar

The slap of slick, hot leather punctuates the warm, sensual embrace of black amber, red musk and dark, lascivious myrrh.

A warm, slightly feminine, soapy-leathery scent. Sultry and dark. (My forum review).

Mania Mania

Screeching white musk collides with a howl of red musk, with sharp white grapefruit and pale strawberry leaf.

Sweet soft fruit grounded by sexy red musk. Very nice indeed. (My forum review).

Melpomene Melpomene

Her scent is rife with pathos, and inspires us with the ability to express our grief, loss, and the pain in our souls in a cathartic, creative fashion: dark cypress with mint, geranium, Bulgar lavender, orange blossom and passion flower.

The scent of houses owned by incredibly poor but extremely scrubbed-and-polished people. Evocative but yeesh. (My forum review).

Nyx Nyx

Night-blooming jasmine, warmed by myrrh, lifted by the promise of rose.

Ouch, cloying and sweetness. Not for me. (My forum review).

Obatala Obatala

Obatala's ofrenda is soft, white and pure: milk, coconut meat, shea butter and cool, refreshing water.

Smells a great deal like a moisturiser - not as refreshing as I'd hoped, but not horrible. (My forum review).

Old Scratch Old Scratch

A lavender fougere with tonka, amber, rosewood and a whiff of diabolical patchouli.

Soft, subtle, sexy warm almost-musky scent with a hint of lavender. Very nice. (My forum review).

Oya Oya

Oya's ofrenda is a Nigerian potion of love and war, sweetened by darkest plum.

Sweet, spicy light plum scent, but very very faint. (My forum review).

Pele Pele

This perfume embodies her gentler, benign aspect as the capricious Goddess of Dance: muguet and Hawaiian white ginger enveloped by warm, damp tropical blooms.

Very faint plumeria, not really capricious or exotic. (My forum review).

Penthus Penthus

Salt tears over white roses, the fumes of thin funereal incense and the hollowness of calamus.

Interesting sea-and-flowers scent but goes to laundry detergent on my skin. (My forum review).

Persephone Persephone

Pomegranate and rose.

The rose and the pomegranate, alas, never quite play together on my skin. (My forum review).

Sacred Whore of Babylon Sacred Whore of Babylon

And upon her forehead was a name written, Mystery, Babylon the Great, the Mother of Harlots and Abominations of the Earth. An ancient formula that inspires unrepentant decadence, lechery and debauch.

Jasmine and cloying and ew. Just, no. Makes my stomach turn over. (My forum review).

Shango Shango

The Master of Lightning's ofrenda contains red apples, banana, chili pepper, coconut, pineapple, pomegranate and sugar cane.

Retch. Old, rotting fruits, mostly apple and banana. Really nasty. (My forum review).

Terpsichore Terpsichore

Vanilla and carnation with neroli, iris, stephanotis, sweet pea, apple blossom and palmarosa.

Florals (mostly neroli and sweet pea) drenches in vanilla syrup. Meh. (My forum review).

Tezcatlipoca Tezcatlipoca

Deep cocoa laced with patchouli, leather armor, ritual incense, and a touch of Xochiquetzal's flowers.

Dry instant hot chocolate powder. Inoffensive, but I feel like there must be a better chocolate scent out there. (My forum review).

Thaleia Thaleia

A vivacious, dazzling, merry scent: honey, ylang ylang, apricot, ciste, blood orange and gardenia with earthy, warm tonka.

The honey doesn't go with the fruits and the horrible powdery rotting scent isn't rescued by the gardenia. (My forum review).

Thalia Thalia

Plumeria, pear and white champagne.

A very white, clean, fresh peary scent. Lovely. (My forum review).

Thanatos Thanatos

Dry white sandalwood and soft Siamese benzoin over a lugubrious blend of myrrh, Moroccan rose, mastic, tomb moss and a thin whiff of Greek incense.

Sticky-sweet cloying rose and incense, not nearly enough sandalwood to brighten it. (My forum review).

Utrennyaya Utrennyaya

Osmanthus, Damascus rose, violet, delphinium, white mint, palmarosa and white sandalwood.

A very light, crisp, clean fresh fragrance, quite feminine but maybe a touch soapy. (My forum review).

Vechernyaya Vechernyaya

Three white musks with poppy and patchouli.

Nice, somewhat hippy-ish patchouli, but very faint. Not worth keeping. (My forum review).

Yemaya Yemaya

Her ofrenda is a bounty of melons and grapes, strewn with the petals of the flowers of motherhood, draped with sea mosses.

Melontastic. Lots of fresh honeydew, a little sweet galia, some powdery watermelon. Might be good in the summer. (My forum review).
